School Feature: Check out the Buffalo Trail Learning Hub!

'Connecting with Learners'
The Buffalo Trail Learning Hub received a generous donation from Cornerstone Co-op through their Feeding the Future initiative, helping to provide nutritious meals for students and support their learning.
Through a partnership between BTPS and Lakeland College, students at the Learning Hub have the opportunity to participate in week-long, hands-on courses. These programs allow students to explore various fields under the guidance of college instructors while also earning high school credits. Recently, students took part in Hairstyling Level 1 at the Lloydminster campus, gaining valuable skills and experience.
The Learning Hub also gives back by hosting practicum students from Lakeland College. Recently, Jessaint, a student in the Child and Youth Care Counsellor diploma program at the Vermilion campus, joined the Hub as part of her practicum. Her contributions made a meaningful impact, and the Learning Hub values the opportunity to support those pursuing careers in education and student support services.
At the Buffalo Trail Learning Hub, engagement goes beyond participation—it is about connection, encouragement, and a shared commitment to success. A dedicated team of teachers, a Social-Emotional Coach, and support staff work together to create an inclusive environment that fosters both academic growth and personal well-being. By building strong relationships and providing tailored support, students are empowered with the tools and confidence needed to thrive.
