June is National Indigenous History Month

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time dedicated to honouring and celebrating the rich histories, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples across Canada.

As we journey through this important month, we are reminded of the profound impact Indigenous communities have had, and continue to have, on our nation’s heritage and identity.

BTPS is committed to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and reconciliation. Let’s come together to celebrate, learn, and grow as we honour National Indigenous History Month.

We have compiled a collection of Indigenous resources on our BTPS website for people to use to learn more about Indigenous history and culture.
